Wen-Chia Lien (b.2000) is a Taiwanese composer and multimedia artist whose creative practice spans instrumental and electroacoustic composition, theatre, and multimedia creation. Her work often engages with social practice and cultural inquiry, integrating music and technology as a medium for dialogue and reflection between sound, space, and audience.

Her works have been performed internationally by ensembles and soloists, with notable highlights including performances at Italy’s ilSUONO Contemporary Music Week, Taiwan’s C-Lab Sound Festival: Diversonics, and the University of Toronto. Her orchestral work Scars received Third Prize in the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra (NTSO) Composition Competition and was premiered by NTSO in Taiwan. Her collaborative work also includes her roles as music designer and co-planner for the collective Skinners , whose experimental theatre production Skin Box premiered at the 2023 Taipei Fringe Festival. Wen-Chia is currently pursuing her master's degree in Music Technology and Digital Media at the University of Toronto, supported by the Taiwan Ministry of Education Study Abroad Scholarship.

In her recent studies, she deepened her focus on multimedia creation. She received the University of Toronto France–Canada Experience France Award, and spent the summer of 2025 studying in Paris. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Theory and Composition from the University of Taipei in 2024, where she studied with composer Chia-Lin Pan. In the summer of 2024, she was further selected as a C-LAB × IRCAM exchange artist.
